Best Royal Rewears By The Princess Of Wales To Date

Meghan Markle is known for doing things her way. She’s an actress on a hit television show, but she quit to marry Prince Harry in 2018. She was raised in the Jehovah’s Witness faith but converted to Catholicism when she married into the royal family. And even though Meghan has been a member of the royal family for less than two years, she’s already making waves by wearing clothes that show off her body even when it comes to jeans.

The Princess Of Wales Is Not One To Ever Wear A Look

The Duchess of Sussex is not one to ever wear a look. She has been in the public eye as a member of the British royal family since she married Prince Harry in May 2018, but it wasn’t until her first official overseas visit alongside her husband that people started paying attention to what Meghan Markle was wearing. The Duchess has continued to wow audiences with her style choices throughout their tour, and now fans are wondering if she will continue these trends into future occasions.

The answer: probably not! While many pieces from Meghan Markle’s past wardrobe could be considered highly fashionable, we have yet to see any repeats so far and for good reason! While wearing certain pieces more than once can be flattering on some women (like Kate Middleton), it may not work very well for others especially when those items are as expensive as hers tend to be!

The Duchess of Cambridge

She doesn’t repeat outfits nearly as often as her sister in law, the Duchess of Cambridge.

Meghan Markle has a more individualistic style than her royal sister in law Kate Middleton, and that’s reflected in her wardrobe choices. While Kate is likely to wear an outfit once or twice before giving it away, Meghan tends to treat each item as if it were brand new even when she’s wearing something she already owns. The result is that Meghan ends up having fewer repeats in her wardrobe than Kate does!

Let’s Be Real

It may surprise you to learn that Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, has worn a lot of the same outfits over and over again. She has worn some of her favorite outfits more than once a week! Let’s take a look at some examples:

  • The first time Kate wore this white dress by Erdem was on October 26th, 2016 at a royal engagement in London. She wore it again on November 6th, 2016 during an official visit to India where she met Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
  • On January 5th, 2017 she wore this blue coat by Aquascutum for an engagement at St James’ Palace with HRH Princess Beatrice of York (the Queen’s granddaughter). This same coat was worn again on February 4th when visiting Northern Ireland as part of her tour of Great Britain.*

But When Meghan Does Re Wear Something

But when Meghan does re wear something, you know it’s good. She is a fashionista who knows what she is doing and has a good eye for what looks good on her. She has been dressing with style since she was young and knows how to dress for different occasions, as well as different weather conditions.

Suits Seven Seasons

You may have noticed that Meghan always wears something new, different, and original. She has a way of dressing that is unique to her and no one else would be caught dead wearing it. It’s these small details that make her so special! In the past few years, Meghan has worn the same outfit three times: once to a state dinner at Buckingham Palace and twice on official royal tours.

When Meghan wears something once, you can bet she’s never wearing it again but a few months or years later she will revisit the same designer or style and give it her twist.

Birkenhead Over The Weekend

So we were positively surprised to see Meghan in a pair of jeans for the third time this month during her visit to Birkenhead over the weekend.

She wore them with a blue button-down shirt tucked into the waist (with a belt) and dark brown boots from Jigsaw that she’s worn on two previous occasions in 2018.

That said, we were even more impressed when we saw her wearing a matching pair of jeans during her visit to Chester last week! These were also from Jigsaw but had an ankle-length hemline perfect if you don’t want to show off your ankles but still want some rock star appeal.

Meghan is not alone in her love for jeans. Jeans are a staple of many women’s closets and for good reason. They’re versatile and can be dressed up or down, they’re comfortable and can be worn on any occasion.

Meghan has favored several brands over the years including Jigsaw, Frame Denim, Rag & Bone, and Monse (the brand she wore at the end of last year).

Local Organizations Supporting Women And Children

  • With Prince Harry by her side, Meghan visited local organizations supporting women and children in need, listened to stories from sex workers and domestic abuse victims, and even gave one mom with back pain a foot massage.
  • The Duke of Sussex also took time out of his busy schedule to visit the children’s ward at Southampton General Hospital where he chatted with patients before meeting with staff members who work there.
  • On Saturday night, the couple attended an intimate gathering hosted by Diana’s sister Sarah Ferguson in honor of Her Majesty The Queen’s 90th birthday; however, they did not attend Sunday morning’s Trooping the Colour celebrations at Buckingham Palace due to security reasons

So far, Meghan has not repeated an outfit yet but seems to like wearing jeans. She has worn the same jeans three times in the last month, including on her first official visit with Harry at a London charity event. She paired them with a blue button down shirt tucked into the waist (with a belt) and dark brown boots.

In summation, Meghan has not repeated an outfit yet but seems to like wearing jeans.
